Hi all,
I still have to pull together my end of the year review for 2016...but this guy was done before New Years so he should really be posted up before my summary is complete...so here he is.
Once again this is quite a unique Renegade model...this one a Kev Adams sculpt (the knee pad faces are a dead give away) once again he was a joy to paint and I chose to use one of my new favorite colors, a rich burnt orange.
Here he is with the rest of squad...Individual shots are below.
Individual Shots of Renegade #17
Well that is the last figure of 2016...
2017 will see me wrapping up the last three figures for this squad of Renegades...but mostly a shift in painting focus to the Dwarf Pikemen that I share with you in the last blog post.
Cheers for now,
Blue
Another great model. What is the orange color you used?
ReplyDeleteThanks Anthony! this Orange is based on VMC Light Rust, highlighted with yellow rust and then with some yellow mixed in for the final.
DeleteAre you going to do the full collection of Renegades like this? Because that would truly be an epic!
ReplyDeleteNot the entire range...there are a few of these models that I'm not hugely fond of...but a fair amount of it. I have at least four squads to work through.
DeleteMan, how do you do this? I'm totally shocked. Hats off (again)!
ReplyDeletethanks Suber!
DeleteFantastic stuff Blue. Old Met'l material for sure.
