Bretonnian Knights ...Finally Finished? Part 2

Here is the final batch of the Bretonnian Knights that have been haunting my painting table for the past couple of years.  Now that they are done I'm really happy with how they have turned out...its been a long road to completion...

This batch includes the command section for this unit and a bonus model that I will probably use as my Army Standard Bearer in the future.

Standard...Ok, so he is not completely done...The actual standard will be forth coming...(shut up Kober!)

Leader...I'm particularly fond of this color combo.

And finally here is the Army Standard Bearer...and Opera Singer

While I had the figures out for these photos I tool the opertunity to capture moe of vignette image with a few of these knights and some of my other Bretonnian models as well.

Thanks for watching this never ending parade of knights!

  1. All fantastic, but I particularly like the colours on the knight with the mace. Worth the wait! :)

  2. They turned out great! Perhaps I need to come up with more imaginative superlatives. Now that you mention it, I'm intrigued to see how you do banners.

  3. BLOO DOES BANNERS! They look lovely, they looked lovely half finished in person. I would have to say my favorite is the opera singer. Give him a saxophone and name him Duke Silver. ;)

  4. Wow! Beautiful, absolutly beautiful...Great details and fantastic colors, congrats!

  5. It's been a while since I came here to comment...
    Once again, very nice painting.
The chosen colors make your Brets very unique, and your army looks very nice !

  6. great work on your knights, I had some Bret's back when 5th edition came out in the late 90's, brought a huge number of them and the peasents, and then found out the hard way I really was rubbish at painting knights!

In the end, flogged them off on ebay in early 2000's when money was short, I've sworn off Bret Knights ever since :)
